A Good Omakase

01About this event

For one day only, A Good Swallow presents an intimate two-seating matcha omakase on Saturday, 5 September 2026. This guided tasting traces matcha through five tea expressions, a savoury course and three desserts.

Matcha is not treated simply as an ingredient, but as a lens: savoury, grassy, creamy, bitter, aromatic and quietly sweet. Each course is designed to draw out a different facet of the tea, pairing Japanese tradition with playful textures and considered flavour combinations.

How the day runs

First seating begins

You are encouraged to show up around 9:45-10am to get the full experience. Please note that while we will entertain latecomers, we will have a strict cut-off for the first seating by 11:30am. Late-comers are welcome, but the cut-off still applies.

12:30PM

Second seating begins

You are encouraged to show up between 12:15-12:25pm for your experience. Equally, there will be a strict 90min dining limit and A Good Swallow will cut things off by 2:00pm. Late-comers are welcome, but the cut-off still applies..
